After work tonight, IAI and their families spent a lovely evening at a local park near the office. The group enjoyed some light refreshments before the festivities began. Kubb, the first game of the evening, mixes elements from bowling and horseshoes. The objective is to knock over your opponents’ blocks, or pins, and then take out the “King” block in the center of the field. This game was simple to learn but difficult to master which made it perfect for adults and their children. After a few rounds of Kubb, the group moved on to play Croquet. This game took a bit more time to explain and set-up. However once everyone understood the mechanics, the group seemed to really enjoy themselves.
